Arizona's Family of Characters
 |
 |
Pops
Pops is a retired Ivy League professor. He used to teach anthrolopology. The truth is he taught little and traveled much. To understand Pops, imagine a granpa who's a cross between Indiana Jones, a Southern gentleman, and Goofy. Though Pops loves people, he's happiest when he's exploring the Arizona wildnerness and spending time with his grand kids: Juliet and Frederick. Pops' best friend is Joe's grandfather.

Juliet
Juliet is part doer, part feeler. Before thinking, Juliet acts. She's guided by powerful instincts. Though she generally means good, at times, her spontaneity makes her come across like a Parisian waiter on a bad day.

Frederick
Frederick is all thinking. He's the cerebral type. He never leaves home without a book to read. Although he dreams of adventure, he rarely experiences it fully -- his brain holds him back like a seat belt everytime he's tempted to go off-path!

Joe
Joe is a Native American. Like Juliet, Joe is part doer-part feeler. Like Frederick, Joe loves adventure. The two boys' favorite game is playing Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Joe's dream is to go down the Mississippi and to travel across the flat plains of the Midwest! Don't laugh -- if all you'd ever seen growing up were the picturesque landscapes of Arizona, you too might find the Midwest exciting and exotic! Joe is raised by his grandparents, and his grandfather's best friend is Pops.
